Terms of service
These terms govern catering services provided under the Fudík brand by Future Developments s.r.o. in Prague and the surrounding area. By submitting an order or accepting a quote, you agree to these terms.
1. Provider
Future Developments s.r.o., company ID 03472451, VAT ID CZ03472451, registered at Rybná 716/24, Staré Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Česká republika (the "Provider" or "Fudík").
Order and communication contact: info@fudik.cz, +420 775 654 639.
2. Service scope
The service consists of delivering the catering selected in your individual quote: food, drinks, and optionally related service (staff, transport, equipment).
The exact scope, menu, price and place of performance are stated in the written or emailed quote that the Client confirms.
3. Order and contract formation
The Client submits an enquiry through the website, by email, by phone, or via the calculator. Based on the enquiry, Fudík prepares a binding quote.
The contract is formed by the Client's written or email confirmation of the quote. For corporate events, an advance invoice may be part of acceptance.
4. Pricing and quote validity
Prices in the quote are stated in CZK. If the Provider is a VAT payer, prices are shown with and without VAT in line with applicable law.
Each quote is valid for 14 days from sending unless stated otherwise. After this period Fudík reserves the right to recalculate the quote based on current ingredient availability and capacity.
The final price reflects the agreed menu, guest count, location and duration of the event, requested service and transport distance.
5. Payment terms
For corporate clients, the standard payment is by invoice with 14 days due from service delivery, unless otherwise agreed.
For private events, weddings and larger orders Fudík may require a deposit of 30–50 % of the price upon confirmation, with the balance payable no later than the day of the event.
Payment is made by bank transfer to the account stated on the invoice. Late payment incurs statutory default interest.
6. Changes to the order
Changes to menu, guest count, time or location are accepted up to 5 working days before the event. Later changes are handled individually based on availability.
Reducing the guest count by more than 10 % less than 5 working days before the event may result in invoicing the originally confirmed scope.
Last-minute increases are accommodated where possible but not guaranteed.
7. Cancellation policy
Free cancellation is available more than 14 days before the event date.
Cancellation 14–7 days before: 30 % cancellation fee.
Cancellation 6–3 days before: 50 % cancellation fee.
Cancellation 2 days before or later: 100 % cancellation fee.
In case of force majeure on either side (e.g. official event restrictions) we look for a mutually acceptable solution, typically rescheduling without penalty.
8. Delivery and place of performance
Transport within Prague and the close surrounding area is included in the quote or charged by distance. Specific terms appear in the quote.
The Client provides access to the venue for delivery and setup at the agreed time. If access is not possible and a delay arises, Fudík may charge waiting time or additional costs.
9. Hygiene and allergens
Fudík prepares food in accordance with the hygiene regulations of the Czech Republic.
Allergen information for individual menu items is available on request or in the delivery documentation. Please advise of any food allergies or specific dietary needs at the time of ordering.
10. Returnable equipment
Some events require rented dishware, cooking equipment or decoration. These items remain the property of the Provider and the Client must return them in the agreed condition.
Damaged or lost rented equipment is charged at the replacement value stated in the quote or delivery note.
11. Complaints
Any service defects must be reported by the Client without undue delay, no later than the day of the event, by email to info@fudik.cz or by phone.
Later complaints generally cannot be objectively assessed. Fudík will resolve justified complaints by an appropriate discount, replacement performance or a partial refund.
12. Liability
Fudík's liability for damage caused by breach of duty is limited to the price of the affected order, unless the law states otherwise.
Fudík is not liable for damage caused by force majeure, third parties outside its supply chain, or improper handling of food after delivery to the Client.
13. Personal data
Processing of personal data of Clients and guests is governed by the separate Privacy and Cookies notice available on the Fudík website.
Personal data provided in an order is used solely to perform the contract, invoice, and for related communication.
14. Final provisions
These terms are governed by Czech law, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code.
Disputes will primarily be resolved by agreement. If agreement cannot be reached, the competent courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction.
Fudík may update these terms. Already confirmed orders are governed by the version effective on the day of confirmation.
